Student Assessment

Student Assessment

The subjects are evaluated on a scale of 0 to 100, where 70 is the minimum passing grade for each course, in accordance with the Regulations of Graduate Studies at UABC. However, due to the guidelines of the PNPC from CONACyT, the minimum weighted averages to maintain the scholarship is 80, besides not have failed any subject.

The grades obtained in every subject are the result of the student’s performance through tests, essays and other works demanded by teachers. The grades of the research seminars takes into account the progress of the doctoral thesis that culminates with the semiannual presentation at the research colloquium, which is discussed and evaluated by a committee of experts who will make qualitative observations and will give a note too.
